Volunteer

Do you have time and talent to share? Help us build a future free of violence for the hundreds of women and children that use our shelters help each year.

Whether you want to support or help plan a fundraising event, help with administrative tasks, provide child care or help to maintain our shelters, we welcome your commitment, experience and passion. Most volunteer assignments are located in Niagara Falls or Welland, with occasional opportunities in other areas of South Niagara (e.g., Welland, Wainfleet, Pelham, Fort Erie, Port Colborne).

Currently we are in the greatest need of volunteers for the following roles:

Cleaning Volunteer (Serenity Place, Welland) -Love cleaning? We are looking for help with cleaning projects at our Welland shelter. This role is ideal for retirees or other individuals who have regular weekday availability (Tues-Fri). Click here for a full overview of this volunteer role.
