Women’s Place Legacy Circle

Leave a Legacy Case for Support Women’s Place Legacy Circle Deborah’s Story Frequently Asked Questions Have your Will prepared for FREE!

The Women’s Place Legacy Circle honours and recognizes the philanthropic leadership and vision of the extraordinary individuals who have chosen to leave a gift to Women’s Place of South Niagara through estate planning. Enrolment in this honourary circle is simply a matter of advising Women’s of South Niagara of the creation of a bequest.

You have lived your life by giving of your time, your talents, and your money because you know that giving matters. A legacy is established when a donor leaves a gift to Women’s Place of South Niagara’s mission, to empower women and their children escaping domestic violence. Estate gifts are not received during a donor’s lifetime. Membership in our Women’s Place Legacy Circle ensures that these gifts will be appropriately recognized while donors are living.

The benefits of membership last a lifetime and may include:

  • Invitations to special events, presentations and seminars
  • Opportunities to meet like-minded donors
  • Opportunities to be profiled in our newsletter and other publications
  • A behind-the-scenes tour of our organization
  • Recognition in our Annual Report
  • Receipt of our newsletter

Privacy

We recognize that some donors do not wish to be publicly recognized for their gifts and we assure those who ask for confidentiality, that their wishes will be respected. It is still possible to enjoy the benefits of the Women’s Place Legacy Circle without the loss of privacy. We protect our donor’s personal information and do not share it with any other organization.

Some donors might be concerned that, by making Women’s Place of South Niagara aware of a gift in their estate, they will leave themselves open to unwanted requests for additional donations. Any donor who does not want to be solicited for further gifts from Women’s Place need only let us know and we will make an appropriate note in our records.
